A Springfield area premiere!
Set on a remote island off the western coast of Ireland in 1934, this comic Irish tale of small town life is filled with an array of eccentric and marvelous characters. As word arrives on Inishmaan that the Hollywood director Robert Flaherty is coming to the neighboring island of Inishmore to film 'Man of Aran,' the town buzzes with gossip and excitement. Though none is more excited than the young Cripple Billy Claven who sees this as a chance to escape the tediousness of the island for a more thrilling life in America. A Springfield area premiere. This production contains mature language and subject matter.
